Kaihara Denim celebrates it’s 127 years of history.
The company owns 4 self-operated manufacturing facilities in Hiroshima, where most denim in Japan are produced. From material development to production, Kaihara makes their denim from scratch all in Japan.
They are commit to being environment friendly, especially for those drainage for the indigo, and have built their wastewater treating facility to treats those drainage with activated sludge system, which clarifies the water to a drinkable level.

10oz denim that is ideal to wear throughout the year.
Warp thread is mixed with CORDURA nylon, excellent with frictionality. Weft thread is stretch mix for more comfort.
*Indigo Dye
Dyed with “Eco-friendly dye” developed by Kaihara.
This method of dying results less color-runoffs, keeping the environmental impact to the minimum.
(*2/3 reduction of color dye drainage when compared to conventional dying methods.)
